Look, updates! Heart of the Empire has been restored to Incyanity. The HOTE Soundtrack page has been updated with a new song, and the entire music list (except for one which I couldn't find) has been linked to videos on YouTube so you can "listen" to the soundtrack. :) In addition, the menu now reflects all the Solitary Pilot content which I have been adding to that site over the last few months. There's quite a lot! Thanks for everyone's patience. I know it's taken way longer than it should have for me to get to putting the rest of the site back together. Possibly everyone gave up waiting, but...more to come, I promise! Yes, it's true. I've posted a new piece of art. A pretty significant piece of writing has been added to Solitary Pilot as well. In March of this year I went to Iceland to attend the EVE Online fanfest. Afterward, Bataav and I decided to retell our experience from an in-character perspective. It took just over eight months to write and came out at over 27,600 words, but it's finally finished! You can check it out from the ficlets page. Not forgotten
I know it's kinda a bummer that a great deal of Incyanity is still unavailable. Updates are coming though! I just got kinda busy with some other stuff and I have been working on back-end coding to make sure the site runs well. :) In the meantime, I've cleaned out inactive member accounts, so if you eventually find you can't log in it's probably because I deleted you. You can become a member again though! As a bonus, the member form now supports usernames with spaces! Solitary Pilot has had a bunch of new content posted since the last time I announced an update for it, including an actual piece of art. There's also a few new ficlets and more pilot logs. Incyanity's host has had a fair bit of trouble the last few days which resulted in a lot of site downtime. They were performing an upgrade to the server that sort of didn't go according to plan. The upgrade is finished now. Change is good, however the upgrade itself seems to have broken some old bits of code still hanging around in Incyanity's programming, so the site no longer functions exactly right. As it happens, I was (still) in the middle of "spring/summer" cleaning (yeah, it's fall now, I realize that). Given this and the broken code, I'm taking the liberty of closing Incyanity temporarily to do a proper clean up. There is also some stale content on the site and I feel it's time to archive those bits until some future date when they may become relevant to my interests again. While this is happening, Solitary Pilot will remain open. Thanks for your understanding and patience. Check back soon! |
